All my ceramic work is hand carved, each piece taking anywhere from 30 minutes to 2+ hours to carve the original designs. My ceramic work is inspired by the way functional pottery inspires ritual; shared or private. I love creating pottery that has a uniquely specific purpose, inspires connection or fosters relationship between people through it’s use. I believe well made, beautiful objects have the power to draw the user’s attention to the remarkable richness of our everyday lives.
